Authority of our statement of faith
The Holy Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that International Christian Church (ICC) believes. We do believe, however, that our statement of faith accurately represents the authoritative teaching of the Bible. Therefore, it is binding on all members and is expressed in what we teach through our sermons, Bible studies, and discipleship small groups.
As a church we uphold eight core beliefs as essential to Christianity. These beliefs relate to the Bible, God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, Christian service, the ordinances (baptism and Communion), and the eternal state of Christians.

The Authority of the Bible
We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God. They are without error in the original writings, and they are the complete and final revelation of God.
The Trinity of God
We believe there is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal in their essential nature, attributes, and perfection; each is to be honored and worship as God.
The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death on a cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts people of sin; causes spiritual birth; and indwells, seals, sanctifies, guides, equips, teaches, and fills the believer, enabling them to walk in obedience to God and His Word.
Salvation Through Christ Alone
We believe salvation is a gift of God, brought to the world by grace and received by the repentant sinner through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness and atonement of our sins.
Christian Service
We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude of disciples from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Ordinances
We believe and practice two ordinances: 1. Water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation; 2. Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death.
The Second Coming & The Eternal State of Christians
We believe that Jesus will return to the earth for His Bride (the church) and that at death those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation will pass immediately into His presence and will have eternal life and joy.
